On behalf of the Neotropical Ornithological Society (NOS), the Red de Observadores de Aves y Vida Silvestre de Chile (ROC), the Sociedade Brasileira de Ornitologia (SBO), the Society of Canadian Ornithologists / Société des ornithologistes du Canada (SCO/SOC) and the Association of Field Ornithologists (AFO), to extend a cordial invitation to participate in the III Ornithological Congress of the Americas (III OCA), to take place in Guanaqueros, Chile, between August 9–12, 2027.

This conference will bring together researchers from across our continent. Our goal and motto is to create a congress with the participation of organizations from every country in the Americas, making it a high-level academic event that is both collaborative and inclusive. The III OCA will host the upcoming XIII Neotropical Ornithological Congress, the XXXI Congresso Brasileiro de Ornitologia (CBO),  and the 2027 annual meeting of the AFO.
